溫州市圖書館系國家地市級一級圖書館，誕生于“五四”運動風潮激蕩之時1919年5月9日，前身為舊溫屬公立圖書館?，F溫州市圖書館館舍位于市府路，于2005年11月對外開放，建筑面積32000平方米，藏書規模300萬冊，內設閱覽座位2000個，網絡節點近2000個，與科技館、博物館、大劇院連成一片環繞在市行政中心大樓周圍，是溫州市標志性建筑之一。 溫州市圖書館堅持每天8:30—20:20開放（周五上午閉館），日均接待讀者達5000人次，開展借閱服務、信息參考服務、舉辦讀者活動、收集整理溫州地方文獻，加強數字資源建設、分館建設等服務，是一個集文化、教育、科研、休閑等功能于一體的大型現代化公共圖書館。 Department of the National Library of Wenzhou municipal level library, was born at the time of "54" movement surging wave of May 9, 1919, formerly known as the old warm genus Public Library.
